    Hello,
I have a 4.5 year old Yellow Lab neutered male. He is exuberant as you might expect from this breed. I would like him to board/train in March. If he seems to be a good candidate after basic training, I may be interested in training as a therapy dog. He and I together would be a great team for working with special needs children.
I look forward to hearing back.
    Jeff

The Dog Training Academy of South Florida is awesome. I had been training with Leanne and Holly before DTASFL opened and it has gotten better with DTASFL. We mostly do agility classes and it is great that it is inside because weather in FL is not always conducive to outside training. There is such a huge variety of classes for whatever you want to do with your dog- puppy classes, obedience, flyball (another favorite), Rally-O, therapy dog, animal actor (this one is very popular), and if you have a reactive dog they also do reactive dog classes. My favorite thing is that you can mix and match classes and are not locked into a specific class every week, so you can experiment with new classes. It is all positive training which is great and builds a great relationship with your dog. It is also the home of our Dog Scouts of America Broward County Troop. We are at DTASFL 3 days a week and love it.

DTASFL has wonderful trainers with the best method (VS Positively); only 14 classes so far, but I can see a huge difference on my puppy’s behavior, especially now that he’s going through the “Dober-teens”. The air conditioned facility is nice and clean, I also love the flexibility of the scheduling and the variety of classes; the prices are great as well. I only wish I had found them sooner; Holly, Kat, and Leanne are amazing!
