"Hello"
Welcome to our web page. We are a training facility located in beautiful Southern Oregon. We live on a 5 acre mini ranch with a pond, creek, and lots of toys and other dogs to socialize with.
I have been a trainer for 24 years with all training in consistent with many other professional trainers, using a method called, "positive reinforcement." I started my career in training at age 15 with a lady by the name of Lucille Cosby in Bend Oregon. At that time she was one of the top 10 judges in obedience and conformation.
Lucille Cosby's training was most recognized by her business titled, "Dog Obedience Training" WITH LOVE by, Lucille Cosby.
The undying love for her canine companion's became a reality to me when I found myself in her arms as a teenager looking for adventure, to realize I had a talent naturally for animals.
I went on as an advit trainer, (as a helper) for the next many years. With many other dog training skills taught to me as life moved on.
I obtained beginning to advanced obedience dog training. As life follows I found the love for behavior issues in the canine world, to be my best adversary.
I also found myself fascinated in some German training i.e. "protection dog phases" of the German training called Schutzand. I have been taught many talent's associated to the canine species, for 24 years and counting.
I also worked as a dog groomer and veterinarian technician in a large countryside veterinarian clinic, and later owned my own grooming shop. To say the least my skills in the career world have always revolved around canines.
As Lucille would say, "if a space ship came down to us.....and the Martians came out, arms swaying, and yelling, and expected us to understand? How could we communicate."
As well as the canine, we need to teach with "love" and actions added with the words, to get the communication understood between our furry little canine friends who are so willing and love to please.
My Member Ships are to include:
American Kennel Club , United Schutzhund Club of America, and the local club Umpqua Kennel Club of our Douglas County.
